New Brief - Exhibit Paper

Exhibit
A newsprint magazine primarily for the purpose of exhibiting unpublished, undiscovered art work from a range of mediums. For example, painting, illustration, photography, instillation and the occasional prose or poems. A large proportion of this work will come from educational institutes, or recent graduates. Although a large section of the target audience will be younger generations, I want to stress that this is not a student magazine, I must appeal to working professionals in the related industries. After all one of the main purposes of EXHIBIT is to promote artists to the rite receiving audience. Their fore it must look professional and authorative but not pretensions, some goes for the editorial content.

Design it in black and white. We need a good font and lay out for the head of the front page. Some sort of style we can lay each page out and apply to each title. Something simple but slightly distinctive

Not to sure about size yet but I’m thinking like a broadsheet newspaper, so slightly longer than a normal magazine

On the front page I want title, date at the top, main aritcal on the front, and space for the titles or small images of 2 other articles within.

i think the whole thing needs some sort of recurring style we can apply to each aspect, something that encompass’s the meaning and what the magerzine is trying to achieve.
